Families have seen their homes washed away and their livelihoods destroyed. Millions are now struggling to find safety, food, and clean water.
International Relief Teams is launching an emergency program to deliver vital aid to flood-affected families in Shangla. Working with trusted local partners, we’ll provide food, shelter, clean water, and hygiene support to help vulnerable families—especially women, children, and the elderly—recover and rebuild.
Emergency food rations are being provided to flood-affected families to meet their immediate nutritional needs. Each household is receiving staple items such as rice, wheat flour, pulses, oil, and sugar.
We are supporting the repair and restoration of damaged water supply systems to ensure communities have access to safe drinking water. Clean water provision is being coupled with hygiene promotion to prevent disease outbreaks. Local committees will be trained to maintain water systems and support sustainable hygiene practices.
Kitchen sets and bedding kits are being provided to replace items lost in the floods. These supplies will help families cook meals safely and sleep with comfort and dignity while temporary shelters are in use.
