On January 7, 2025, a series of major wildfires ignited in the greater Los Angeles area, fueled by unprecedented winds and unseasonably dry conditions. Over 16,000 structures were destroyed, including homes, schools, and businesses, leaving countless families in dire situations.
Los Angeles faces urgent recovery challenges—restoring homes, basic services, and shelter—while also needing a long-term, resilient rebuild. International Relief Teams is currently supporting cleanup efforts and will take part in the rebuilding process, standing alongside families as they recover and restore what was lost.
